Honoring The Life of Dr. Frederick P. Ayers
It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the unexpected passing of esteemed colleague, Dr. Frederick "Fred" P. Ayers, M.D. on October 22, 2023.
Fred was a beloved radiologist and partner of Ramapo and Orange Radiology Associates for 22 years, the practice of which became part of the Hudson Valley Radiology Associates family in February of 2023.
He was passionate about his work and cared deeply about our patients and team members. Always quick with a smile and a joke and willing to cover call at the last minute for one of his partners, Dr. Ayers was an integral part of the HVRA/Ramapo Radiology/Orange Radiology family. Every Holiday he shared entertaining stories about childhood family gatherings.
Dr. Ayers practiced medicine with the utmost integrity, humility, and compassion going above and beyond to care for his family, friends, and patients. Everyone loved Dr. Ayers, and he touched so many lives.
