John R. Melnick, M.D.

Dr. John Melnick is a board-certified radiologist with a special interest in body imaging and a focus in oncology. He earned his medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine (NYC) and completed his residency at North Shore University Hospital (NY). He completed his fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston). Dr. Melnick began his career in radiology in 1999 and in 2009, he became part of the Lenox Hill Radiology (LHR) team.

Dr. Melnick’s focus on cancer care began during his training at Massachusetts General Hospital. “I was exposed to some of the early research on prostate cancer imaging,” he recalls. “With this background, I have become increasingly involved in prostate care and providing an imaging-based resource for many prostate cancer care providers within New York City.”
