Dr. Jonathan Rubin is a board-certified radiologist who earned his medical degree from the State University of New York (Stony Brook) and completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Eastern Virginia Medical School (Norfolk). In addition, he finished his fellowship at Stanford University Hospital (Stanford, CA). Dr. Rubin is affiliated with the Medical Society of Delaware and is a staff member of Christiana Care. He developed his interest in radiology during an externship at the Medical College of Virginia (now known as Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center).
Dr. Rubin joined Papastavros’ Associates Medical Imaging (PAMI) in 2013. Five years later, PAMI merged with Diagnostic Imaging Associates to become Delaware Imaging Network. His favorite aspect of his job has been the interventional side of radiology, as well as interacting with patients directly when he can.
When he’s not working, Dr. Rubin is an avid baseball fan who is also the pitcher and manager of a co-ed adult slow pitch softball team in his hometown. Off the field, he loves horticulture, and has a vast knowledge of ferns, orchids, perennials and aquatic plants. In addition, he’s a prolific reader and enjoys works by Malcolm Gladwell, Eric Larson and David Sedaris.
