Douglas H. Brown, M.D.

Dr. Brown completed a Musculoskeletal Imaging fellowship at UCSF following his residency training at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles . He is a recognized expert in Orthopedic radiology, performing such procedures as MR arthrography, conventional arthrography, image-guided musculoskeletal biopsy, and joint injections. Dr. Brown performs an average of more than 400 joint injections/procedures per year which include therapeutic Synvisc and corticosteroid joint injections throughout the body.


Dr. Brown actively participates in musculoskeletal research projects, primarily concentrating on early detection of arthritis with MRI techniques. He has published extensively and has lectured at multiple conferences and rheumatology symposiums. Dr. Brown also served as Chief of Musculoskeletal Imaging at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
