I strive to bring not only a wealth of imaging expertise; but, also compassionate, individualized care to every patient. I firmly believe that open communication between physician and patient is essential for easing the anxiety and fear that often accompanies breast imaging examinations, interventions and breast cancer diagnoses.
I have nearly two decades of experience in all modalities of breast imaging including, screening and diagnostic mammogram, 3D diagnostic tomosynthesis, screening and diagnostic breast ultrasound, image guided percutaneous needle biopsy and breast MRI, with a special interest in image guided biopsy and breast MRI. A lifelong advocate of women’s health, I have served as an associate radiologist at Murray Hill Radiology and Mammography since 2000.
I received my medical degree from State University Health Science Center at Brooklyn in 1994. I went on to complete a Diagnostic Radiology residency at New York University School of Medicine in 1999. The vast technology in medical imaging drew me to a career in radiology. It was my desire for direct patient contact, particularly for offering expertise and care to women facing significant health issues that made breast imaging the natural choice for sub-specialization. I subsequently completed dual fellowship training in Breast Imaging and Cross-Sectional Body Imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in 2000.
