The Florida Lung Health Coalition (FLHC) aims to increase lung screening so that we can detect lung disease early, when it is most treatable. Right now, only 3% of eligible Floridians get lung disease screening. We’re teaming with FLHC to make that 30% by 2030.The head of FLHC is Dr. Mathew Ninan, Director of Thoracic Surgery at HCA Florida. In this interview with Bloom, the global health and wellness show, Dr. Ninan explains why regular lung screening is crucial. Our collaboration with FLHC is one more way that we’re keeping Florida healthy.
