Dr. Maya E. Reiser is a board-certified radiologist in diagnostic radiology with special interests in body and breast imaging. She earned her medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine (NYC) and completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at Mount Sinai Hospital (NYC). She finished her fellowship in CT and Ultrasound at New York Medical College (Valhalla, NY).
Dr. Reiser joined Community Radiology Associates (CRA) in 1989. Though she started off in obstetrics and gynecology, she grew interested in radiology due to its more visual nature.
“My mother was an architect,” recalls Dr. Reiser. “I was used to looking at my mother’s drawings which turned two-dimensional things into three dimensions. It became easy for me to combine that with my interest in biology.”
When not working, Dr. Reiser enjoys cooking, reading and travelling.
