OUR SERVICES services Services 3D Mammography 3D mammography uses X-rays to produce images of breast tissue in order to detect lumps, tumors or other abnormalities. Angiography Angiography is an X-ray exam of the arteries and veins to diagnose blockages and other blood vessel problems. Arthrograms An Arthrogram is an X-ray exam of a joint, using a contrast agent and fluoroscopy. It may involve a CT or MRI procedure. Bone Density Scan A Bone Density scan (DEXA) measures the density and mineral content in bone, most often in the hip or lower spine. Breast Biopsy A breast biopsy is a medical procedure that extracts a tiny sample of breast tissue from the body for the purpose of testing. Breast MRI Breast MRI produces images of breast tissue by detecting movements of atoms within the body, which can reveal valuable information about a breast abnormality or disease. Breast Ultrasound Breast ultrasound is primarily used to help physicians diagnose potential breast abnormalities previously detected by physical examination or mammography. CT Computed Tomography (CT) helps differentiate between healthy and diseased tissue in any part of the body, making it possible to accurately diagnose many diseases at an early stage. Digital Mammography Mammography is a type of low-dose X-ray of the breast. It reveals masses and micro-calcifications within and around the breast that may indicate breast problems. Digital X-ray X-ray is the most frequently used form of medical imaging worldwide. It is used to diagnose disease, monitor therapy, and identify potential problems throughout our bodies. It can be performed anywhere from head to toe. Fluoroscopy Fluoroscopy uses a continuous low-dose X-ray beam, often combined with a contrast material (dye), to produce images of organs and bones in real time. MRI MRI is an advanced medical imaging procedure that uses a powerful magnetic field, radio waves and a computer to create cross-sectional images. Nuclear Medicine Nuclear Medicine uses very small amounts of radioactive materials (also called radiopharmaceuticals) to diagnose and treat disease. PET/CT PET/CT is a specialized type of nuclear imaging. Its primary use is in the evaluation of cancer. Less common uses include neurological and cardiac evaluation. PET/MRI This new hybrid technology combines the strengths of PET and MRI to create highly detailed images of your internal structures. Ultrasound Ultrasound uses sound waves and a computer to create images of internal organs and blood vessels and to monitor health conditions. area-of-body Area of Body Abdominal Imaging Abdominal imaging addresses the health of the colon, intestines, kidneys, liver, pancreas, pelvis, and stomach. Brain & Spine Imaging Our board-certified neuroradiologists investigate pathologies and injuries of the head, neck, and spine using some of the most advanced imaging technologies available. Breast Imaging Breast cancer is the second most common cancer in women (after lung cancer). Early detection of breast cancer vastly increases survival rates. Cardiac & Vascular Imaging Cardiac imaging has made significant strides to improve our ability to more accurately identify abnormalities at an early stage, helping to provide minimally-invasive treatments where applicable. Chest Imaging We provide a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures in the throacic area, from screening to angiography, to help patients and referring physicians. Musculoskeletal Imaging Musculoskeletal radiology evaluates a wide variety of conditions related to a patient’s back, bones, joints, muscles, neck, and spine. Prostate Imaging RadNet was one of the first imaging practices in the U.S. to establish a dedicated prostate MRI program. Even greater advancements are now incorporated to help diagnose and treat prostate disease. specialty-care Specialty Care Brain Health Imaging procedures for the brain can discern both the function and the structure of the nervous system. Also known as neuroimaging, these types of exams include the newest cutting-edge techniques. Cancer Imaging Radiology covers every system in the body. We are uniquely positioned to collaborate with oncologists and surgeons to handle complex, multi-stage cancer cases. Emergency and Trauma Imaging Some emergency health situations require radiology services. Our radiologists can prioritize and manage critical exams such as an angioplasty, embolization and/or stent placement. Heart Health Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women. These exams are minimally invasive with low-dose exposure—and can often yield very precise information. Interventional Radiology Interventional radiology is the practice of minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat diseases and disorders. Maternal Fetal Imaging We are dedicated to providing you the most detailed assessment of your baby that age, baby position and your body build allows. Men's Imaging RadNet is a leader in the specialty area of men’s health. We leverage the latest, most advanced technology to provide the best care available for patients, in both diagnosis and treatment. Pediatric Imaging We have the clinical knowledge and compassion to support your child’s imaging needs. Parents should not have to choose between image quality and risk. Sports Imaging We have a “deep bench” of expertise in musculoskeletal imaging, which is integral for pain management, diagnosis, and treatment of sports-related injuries. Women’s Imaging Whether you need a mammogram, bone density test, fetal imaging, or ultrasound, you will find our priority is providing you the best possible care, gently and professionally.
