Dr. Mukul K. Das is a board-certified radiologist in diagnostic radiology with an added special competency in vascular and interventional radiology. He holds special interests in interventional radiology and nuclear medicine. He completed his medical degree at Sir Salimullah Medical College at Dhaka University in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He completed his residency in general surgery at Chittagong Medical College (Bangladesh) and in diagnostic radiology, general surgery and transitional medicine at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland (Pontiac, Michigan). He finished his fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Washington Hospital Center (Washington, D.C.).
Dr. Das joined Community Radiology Associates (CRA) in 2000, following his residency and fellowship. His love of vascular and interventional radiology is what drew him to want to pursue a career in the field.
“Vascular intervention is what initially drew me to radiology, I was fascinated with it,” recalls Dr. Das.
When not working, Dr. Das likes to participate in outdoor exercise activities- everything from hiking to tennis.
