Dr. Parham Farid is a board-certified radiologist in neuroradiology and diagnostic radiology who graduated with a medical degree from the West Virginia University School of Medicine. He has been with Community Radiology Associates for 15 years. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Mercy Hospital (Pittsburgh, PA) and his fellowship in neuroradiology at the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He holds a special interest in neuroradiology.
While learning about different subspecialties in medical school, Dr. Farid became fascinated with radiology in particular.
“It’s at the forefront of technology and the field was quickly changing,” he says. “It seemed to me that when you were training at the hospital and wanted to know where all the interesting cases were, radiologists knew exactly where they were.”
When not occupied with radiology cases at work, Dr. Farid is busy with his three young children. When he has time to himself, he enjoys playing soccer with friends.
