RadNet Teams with the Florida Lung Health Coalition to Drive Early Detection through Screening

In this interview on Bloom, a global health and wellness program, Mathew Ninan, M.D., Director of Thoracic Surgery at HCA Florida, explains the purpose and launch of the Florida Lung Health Coalition (FLHC).

FLHC was created as a consortium of stakeholders to tackle the poor rate of lung screening in Florida, currently only 3% of the eligible population. RadNet is teaming with FLHC to accelerate the uptake and adherence of lung disease screening in Florida. RadNet will leverage its state-of-the-art technology, including the application of artificial intelligence, to drive more accurate, and early, detection.

In this interview, Dr. Ninan reflects on the success of FLHC’s launch symposium, including an appearance from Dr. Catharine Young, Assistant Director of Engagement, The White House, Cancer Moonshot. He also discusses how new technology will make a significant difference in fighting lung disease, which is more widespread than many realize.
